Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website. To describe my counselling approach succinctly, I would say I place a strong emphasis on the working alliance.

I prioritize active listening and keep your immediate needs in mind. I employ a combination of talk therapy and hypnotherapy to facilitate your progress and help you overcome obstacles.

When people hear or mention hypnosis in conversation, it can bring about varied initial impressions or reactions. Hypnosis, in itself, is simply a natural state of mind we slip in-and-out of unknowingly throughout our day. That said, while in a trance-like state you always remain in control and will not say or do anything you would not normally do. Hypnosis can be used as a way to access the unconscious mind or the “feeling mind”. It is a helpful tool or platform that can be used to apply proven psychotherapeutic methods. I use this approach to help you live a more fulfilling and meaningful life. 


By definition, hypnotherapy is an alternative healing method that is used to self-create positive unconscious change in a person. It helps to form new responses, thoughts, attitudes, behaviours or feelings towards a perceived challenge.

Hypnotherapy is:

  • Safe

  • Scientific|Evidence Based

  • Can Aid In Creating Positive Change


It is not always necessary to use hypnosis in counselling, but it can come in handy for certain situations. If needed, it can help deepen or help access parts of your mind that you are not consciously aware of. The therapeutic modalities I principally use in my practice are:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

  • Hypnotherapy
